Unicycles in Chilly Hilly

The Unicycles were at Chilly Hilly. They are interesting to watch climb and decend hills, as well as the dismounting/mounting of the wheel!

Chilly Hilly....2007

Well, we dun it... we did the Chilly hill, not far, 33 miles, but very HILLY! I can't recall any real flat sections. The ride took hills that went up and down constantly. The total rise, elevation gain, whatever, was 2800 feet, so it was a bit tough. Tyler had to work so he couldn't attend. Danny and I went with Jeff Cramer from church. He and I did the STP last summer. Some 4000 bikers signed up for this event, though I think the rain kept many away. Here's a couple of features showing the day.

The Mountain! .... is OUT!

Here's a view of Mt. Rainier from I-5 crossing over the Puyallup River. Taken on a trip to Bellingham last weekend with Sandra driving at 60 mph!
