South Ferry Station vanashing....
Here's a short video I found of the South Ferry Station in Manhattan. There is a new station soon to open which will eliminate the South Ferry Stop. The oddity of the old station is shown and here

Step bar comes out!??? good idea, i never seen it in Japan. we have automatic door, but sometimes train have to adjust to make a right position stop! because somepeople fall down by mystake and loose their life seriouslly...
This subway trainstop is in New York City. I lived there and often used this station. It will be gone soon and I will miss it. The sound of the screeeeching was incredible. I'm glad the step bar comes out, I would be falling down since I often rode late at night and was tired.
